Law Office of Matthew Peterson Secures DISMISSAL in Possession of Cocaine Case

Updated: Mar 13

In January 2018, the Law Office of Matthew Peterson, a criminal defense and cocaine defense lawyer, secured a DISMISSAL of a client facing a possession of cocaine charge. If convicted, our client would be a convicted felon and could face probation.

Our client was charged with possessing cocaine found in his car. When he was arrested on unrelated warrants, police performed an inventory search that we believed was done wrongly. We filed a motion to suppress the evidence and throw out the case. After a hearing, the Judge GRANTED our motion to suppress and the case was DISMISSED.

If you need a criminal defense lawyer who will fight for you, call me now and set up a consultation at 251-289-0576.

DISCLAIMER: Please keep in mind that the results we obtained are case-dependent, and we may not be able to secure the same result for you. Please discuss your case with a qualified criminal defense attorney to find out the applicable law for your situation.
