Law Office of Matthew Peterson Secures Misdemeanor for Client Charged with Drug Distribution
Updated: Mar 13
In November 2018, we secured a misdemeanor for our client charged with felony drug distribution. If convicted, our client could face decades in prison. Instead, our client was released on probation and able to continue working without a felony record.
Our client was charged with distributing drugs to an undercover police officer. Based on our client's lack of criminal history, the circumstances of the offense, and his progress since the offense, we secured a misdemeanor conviction instead of a felony. This means our client will not be labeled a convicted felon and will be allowed to remain out on probation.
